| Job Description:Directs the completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates and subcontractors and ensures assignments are competed as directed. Enforces work standards and reviews. Resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Interfaces with the Contractors Program Manager and Government management personnel including, but not limited to, the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officers Technical Representative. We are very excited to be servicing this IT client that is moving into the Dayton area. In 2004, this client was rated in the top 20 of developing companies nationwide. Experience with JAVA a MUST and experience with DB2 or similar programs such as Oracle are very important. This experience MUST also have been within an IBM environment. Other desired experiences include XML, WebSphere, and Tivoli. Salary based on experience level. Client is looking for team-oriented individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit. Possesses requisite knowledge and expertise recognized in the professional community and is qualified as a subject matter expert (SME) based on government standards
Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communications skills
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience is required
Knowledge and analytical skills to define client functions, break them down into testable requirements and develop Use Cases for developers to write code
Experience in RUP (or a similar requirements process) is highly desirable
Must be able to work on cross-functional teams for various programs
A knowledge of Army/Air Force forms and publications programs is a highly desirable

Production Control Manager needed in southern Indiana Area. This $100 Million (sales) automotive steel parts manufacturer is positioned for growth. Our client requires a hands on leader in the production area. Will supervise production schedulers and customer service representatives (currently 8) while reporting to the VP (Plant Manager) of this Japanese manufacturing facility. May possibly take on the added responsibility of managing the shipping/receiving department. Experience should include working closely with OEM and/or Tier I customers.

Qualifications/Comments: Bachelors degree is required. Strong preference for steel manufacturing and or hard metals parts. Must have automotive supplier experience in a QS9000 or TS16949 certified environment. Will have a minimum of 3-5 years in a manager level role.
Familiarity with Kaizen activities with PDCA cycle is desirable. Extensive use of ERP software and MRP (II) is essential.
Prior experience with an automotive transplant operation would be a plus. Reporting to the VP, Manufacturing (Plant Manager role), will monitor and plan inventories of all levels of Bills of Materials, schedule raw materials needs, and production work orders for plant work centers.
Minimum of 5 years in a management level production responsibility required.
