Description:
Plant Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, high-speed, high-volume, packaging. This position is with a global, diverse, family-friendly corporation where you can make a difference! The Plant Engineer is responsible for the management of engineering projects from inception to completion and all maintenance activities.
Duties include:
• Projects ranging from improvement of existing lines to plant maintenance;
• Timing and financial control of projects to ensure strategic marketing and sales impact;
• Developing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), down time and root cause analysis, and strategic part sourcing and procurement;
• Spare parts management;
• Robotics operation and maintenance;
• Utility cost control and environmental compliance;
• Coordinating with Industrial Engineering for ergonomic analysis, verification of plant performance standard, reducing labor expenses, and time and motion studies to quantify performance standards.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year degree required.
Required skills:
• 3+ years experience in high-speed / high-volume packaging and processing;
• Experience managing engineering projects from inception to completion;
• Experience developing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS);
• Refrigeration knowledge;
• Environmental experience (EPA, Tier II);
• Robotics operation and maintenance;
• Utility cost control and environmental compliance;
• Coordinating with Industrial Engineering.
