This individual will serve as the primary interface between IT, the Branch Distribution Channel, and the Bank Portfolio Management Office. Through these relationships, the Director will oversee one to several complex projects or programs, and will align project work to Bank and Branch Distribution strategy. The Director will establish a project governance structure, manage project coordinators or managers, and direct their work. The Director will be responsible for holding the team accountable for risk and financial management of the projects and for providing project status updates to stakeholders and customers. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Bank PMO. Key Job Responsibilities: Manage/Lead large scale programs or projects within Bank PMO supporting Next Generation Bank Teller System Manage/Lead/Develop a project team or teams, including project planning, project reviews and issue management Innovate and offer creative solutions and ideas for how to be more efficient, economical, or successful Risk Management Partner with other internal business organizations to coordinate communications Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: · Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. · 5 plus years managing large Technology Programs · 2 Years of management experience · 2 Years experience in Resource or Relationship Management · 2 Years experience in Risk Management Preferred Qualifications: · Masters Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing or Finance · PMP Certification, PMI certified · 8 Years experience in Managing large scale project or programs, where senior leaders in the organization are the customers · 8 Years experience in Managing/Leading and developing team and associates Capital One will not file non-immigrant visa petitions for alien workers.
