The QA Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the QA Manager in implementing company standards to ensure conformity with quality specifications for the finished food product. Duties include: • Responsibility for all quality assurance functions; • Monitoring plant operations to assure sanitary operations procedures according to GMPs; • Assisting in developing product specifications; • Ensuring that plant audit procedures are properly carried out; • Daily sampling and inspection of incoming ingredients;; • Assisting with third party and customer audits; • Assisting in auditing the Food Safety/HACCP program; • Assisting with training team members in all departments on quality topics such as GMPs, Allergens, HACCP, etc.; • Performing Environmental Pathogen/Micro Swabbing.
