Description:
Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift, high-speed, food, bakery. This position is with a global, diverse, family-friendly corporation where you can make a difference! As 2nd Shift Production Supervisor you will be responsible for line safety, GMP, quality and performance for lines assigned. Other duties include:
• Evaluating and coordinating training needs and integrating quality and safety training standards;
• Evaluating the staffing needs of the lines to maximize output;
• Coaching and guiding team members in need of development;
• Daily scheduling and resource allocation;
• Monitoring the performance of team members and documenting for performance appraisals;
• Managing employee relations;
• Conducting team meetings and communicating policy changes;
• Daily performance reports and shift paperwork;
• Developing and implementing improvement plans;
• Managing any assigned projects.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year degree required; Engineering or Science preferred.
Required skills:
• 3+ years high-speed manufacturing and supervisory experience;
• Must have food industry experience, bakery preferred;
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
• The ability to motivate others and encourage team development;
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience preferred;
• Must be willing to work second shift and be flexible on other hours and weekends.
